StrayCat a Strider Club

We have had great fun sailing StrayCat as a family but kids grow up and interests change. So, it is time to pass her on to somebody who will get more use out of her.

She can sleep two people in each hull and has storage space for a chemical toilet. In addition, there are five other storage spaces.

StrayCat was built in 1989 by Palamos but not launched until 2000.

Construction is GRP hulls, deck and superstructure.
Engine: Tohatsu 6hp 4 stroke (Long shaft Saildrive) with 25litre plastic petrol tank

Work carried out by the current owner:
CopperCoat applied in 2016 and touched up in 2024.
All the, stainless steel, standing rigging replaced in 2023.
Gooseneck replaced in 2023.
Sacrificial strip on jib replaced in 2023.
Main halyard, topping lift and jib sheets replaced since 2021.
Trampoline replaced in 2024.
