Hull Planking

Below knuckle - 30 sq m western red cedar, either rectangular 25 x 10mm or profiled 32 x 10mm. Sizes are finished after planing.
Topsides - 28 sq m western red cedar (planks can be up to 70mm wide) OR 16 sheets 8/9mm plywood plus 70m 2" x 1" timber
Gunwales 35m 3" x 1"

Glass -  out side skin 430g Unidirectional 30 sq m or 55 sq m if topsides are cedar inside skin 600g Biaxial 50 sq m (Note: Option - use 600g biaxial inside and out)

Epoxy glue 90 Kgs plus fillers etc

Note: Polyurethene glue (eg Balcotan) can be used instead of epoxy for gluing planking and for interior furniture etc

Note: All plywood to be best quality marine grade gaboon (okume). List assumes sheet size is 8' x 4'. All timber to be best quality softwood eg sitka spruce, yellow cedar, douglas fir or similar. Dimensions are finished, nominal "planed all round" PAR. eg 2" x 1" has a finished size of approx 45mm x 20mm
