Meander Building 2

First hull moved
outside. Aft beam will be bonded in place later. (hence no paint on
aft face of wing). Or you can make beam boxes and use metal
straps over the beams. This means the boat can be built away from
the water and transported in sections. However the boxes are heavy
and take up space. They also take time to build (6 are needed). So,
as it is unlikely that you will ever take the boat apart again once
launched, consider leaving gaps for the beams and fit them in a
waterside boatyard during final assembly.

| This shows the size of
a Meander and shows that its quite a daunting project, not one to be
taken lightly. | ![]() |
