Javelin Exterior 1

Beached Javelin

This Javelin has a "soft top" canopy to give extra protection to the crew. The front section can be left up when sailing. The back part needs removing so that it does not interfere with the genoa sheets

Note daggerboard case slot on outer hull side is well clear of the bottom so cannot get filled with mud or stones. Also note shallow (150mm/6") beaching keels which help protect the hull bottom when drying out

Seating area over aft deck makes for a very comfortable steering position. Note rudders and tiller bar in raised position as boat is dried out. When sailing tiller bar is about 6" above aft beam
