Walkways make it safe and easy to go forward without getting near the edge of the boat

Halyards and slab reefs are led aft through big turning blocks to reduce friction

The big flat decks, especially forward are a great bonus on cats - even dogs think so!

 

The following three photos show the Gypsy Lightwave BEFORE all the "stuff" was added. As you can see it was a lot lighter and floated on its lines
